Our Story
Fruit Bearing Studios is a faith-driven film production company dedicated to creating meaningful, family-centered films rooted in faith, growth, hope and love. The company’s journey began in 2013 in St. Louis, Missouri, when husband-and-wife team Trey and Kyria Williams responded to a spiritual calling to write and produce original faith-based stories.

Combining Trey’s background in audio production with Kyria’s gift for storytelling, they launched KMW Productions, producing a series of stage plays that gained momentum within the urban theater community.
Notable productions included Love Changes Things, The Wake Up Call, Moving Forward, and Marriage Works, If You Work It.
As the vision expanded toward film, KMW Productions partnered with Mullen Group Productions, led by filmmaker Derrick Mullen, whose expertise in cinematography, visual storytelling, and branding elevated the work for the screen. This creative partnership marked a significant transition from stage to film.
Between 2018 and 2023, the team produced four feature films. The first three The Wake Up Call (2018), A New Husband for Christmas (2020), and The Gift of Grace (2021) were produced under KMW Productions in association with Mullen Group Productions.
The Wake Up Call received recognition from the International Christian Film Festival and the Church Stars Network and remains an exclusive gem on their YouTube channel.

Following years of collaboration, KMW Productions and Mullen Group Productions formally merged, giving birth to Fruit Bearing Studios. Under this unified banner, the team released their fourth feature film, The Company You Keep(2023).

A New Husband for Christmas, The Gift of Grace, and The Company You Keep are currently streaming on Amazon and Tubi, extending the studio’s reach to audiences worldwide.

Fruit Bearing Studios is currently in post-production on its fifth feature film, Christmas Owes Me Nothing, continuing its commitment to telling Christ-centered stories that reflect real life, family, and redemption.
